Who can Volunteer?
Any caring individual who is dedicated to serving older adults can be a volunteer. Youth under 15 years of age can help with adult supervision. We have many different activities and projects in which we can use help. Schedules for volunteers are flexible and can include weekdays, evenings, weekends, or holidays. Our staff is available to offer assistance and training to ensure you are comfortable and well-prepared. Volunteering can be done in groups or on an individual basis.
What Volunteer Opportunities Are Available?
Residents have wide ranging abilities and interests, so we like to work to match your particular talents, skills, and interests with our needs. Past examples of volunteer involvement include crafts, baking, music, special events, reading to residents, and taking residents outdoors. We can even build new programs and activities around you.
