Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care Services

Pastoral care is an integral part of the ministry of Schmitt Woodland Hills. The task of Pastoral Care is sharing, encouraging and supporting residents and their families in their faith journey. Meeting the needs of each individual is our goal.

Recognizing the importance of individual expressions of faith is an essential role of the chaplain and the staff of Schmitt Woodland Hills. The pastor and congregation familiar to the resident and the family are the primary spiritual resource. Our chaplain strives to complement and assist in this ministries as needed and requested.

Each resident is seen as a child of God and the pastoral care staff seeks to strengthen the individual’s walk of faith.

Schmitt Woodland Hills

On April 19th, we were happy to be able to honor and show recognition to our volunteers from the past year! We celebrated with the theme "Our Volunteers Mean the World to Us", so the gifts and decorations for the evening reflected that "global" theme. A huge thank you to all our volunteers for the many, many things you do for Schmitt Woodland Hills! ... See MoreSee Less
