Residential apartment living at Schmitt Woodland Hills combines the pleasure of independent living with a sense of security found in a supportive retirement community committed to serving seniors. Schmitt Woodland Hills offers older adults a continuum of quality services and facilities. Our independent living apartments are registered as a Residential Care Apartment Complex (RCAC) which allows us to provide personal and supportive care as needed. Apartment tenants are assured priority access to all other facilities and care levels offered at Schmitt Woodland Hills.
Apartments are available in a variety one and two bedroom floor plans (PDF file) with many options for services and meals to fit your lifestyle. Our apartments have large windows with beautiful views of the hills, resident gardens, or even the occasional deer.

We offer unlimited family visitation, private spaces for special meetings and cozy public lounges for larger celebrations. Our apartments are couple friendly allowing pairs to grow older together knowing support is available should conditions change requiring the need for assisted living or skilled nursing care.
Each apartment is carpeted with private baths, kitchenettes, and ample closet space. We encourage you to decorate to your taste using your own furniture, favorite pictures, and other belongings. You may cook your own meals or join other residents in the dining room where three delicious meals are served. Meals can also be delivered directly to your apartment. Weekly housekeeping is included in the monthly fees and each apartment has an emergency call system with 24 hour staff support services available.
If help with personal care is needed, additional support services may be included such as nursing assessment during temporary illness, medication distribution, whirlpool baths, foot care, linen and personal laundry service. We seek to offer the independence people want and assistance when needed.
