Detailed Directions

Nestled in the hills of Southwestern Wisconsin, Schmitt Woodland Hills Retirement Community is located at 1400 West Seminary Street on the outskirts of Richland Center. Many people wishing to visit our campus drive to Richland Center on either Hwy 80 running north/south or Hwy 14 running East/ West. Both roads run parallel, both heading North/South for a short time in Richland Center and both intersect Seminary Street.

Hwy 80 intersects Seminary Street in the downtown area at a four-way stop sign. On the SE corner is Richland Center's historic Court House and diagonally from it on the NW corner is a Kwik Trip gas station. Turn west toward the Kwik Trip heading out from the downtown area. At the next controlled intersection you will cross Hwy 80, which is west of Hwy 14. Please continue west.

If you are coming in on Hwy 14 there will be an Auto Zone auto parts store at the intersection with Seminary Street. It is controlled by stop lights and the Auto Zone store is on the NW corner. If you are on Hwy 80, turn toward the Auto Zone going west and almost immediately Seminary Street will cross a river. Just past the bridge there is a large apartment complex on the left and a community center on the right.

Keep going west for about 1.2 miles. On the other side of a small hill, our sign should be visible on your right and soon you should be able to see Schmitt Woodland Hills on your right. Almost directly across the street from our driveway Cty Hwy Y will turn to your left. If you miss the intersection and find yourself in the country then you have gone too far and Seminary Street has turned into Cty Hwy Q. If this happens just turn around and try again.
